The Camping Association of Nova Scotia Accreditation Manual
The Camping Association of Nova Scotia has stringent guidelines to ensure that its accredited members offer a fun, safe, and enriching camping experience for our youth. Above all, the guidelines are in place to encourage camps to be as safe as possible.
Below, provided in PDF format, are copies of the CANS Accreditation Manual. The manuals are available for download, in their entirety, or in individual sections. Camps should strive to be able to answer "Yes" to every applicable question in the Manual.
We have also provided a resource version of the Accreditation Manual which specifies where a specific standard originated from. The CANS Resource Accreditation Manual is available here.
