Foodbuy Webinar & Teleconfernece May 6, 2014
There is no cost to join the Foodbuy buying group and you still continue to make all your regular purchases through SYSCO or GFS - but now you save money. WOW!Here is how to join the meeting:
First click here to go to the meeting home page.
You will most likely get an initial screen that asks you to Re-Set your local time zone preferences. Just click yes and then your can re-set to Halifax - AST time zone from the drop down menu.
The next screen will be the Home page for the Webinar / teleconference, showing the meeting date and start time. You can join the meeting up to 15 minutes in advance of the start time, when the Join button will activate and turn blue. Simply click the Join button on the right.
You will then be prompted to download and install the webinar application from Compass, the service provider for this webinar / teleconference. Only takes a few minutes - but still do this 5 minutes before the meeting. Once you have completed this you will be retuned to and prompted into the meeting.
Then you will be asked to enter your name and email address. Then you will then be prompted to enter the phone number that you would like the teleconference to call you at. There is no cost for this phone call as Foodbuy is paying the long distance cost to call your phone and add you into their teleconference meeting. Once you enter you phone number you will be called a few seconds later. Answer your phone and you are now in the meeting!
The meeting is being hosted by Brian Laughton from Foodbuy.
You will be able to hear the Webinar presentation through your phone and watch the PowerPoint presentation on your computer screen and to ask or text Brian any questions.
